Having completed Bacaadweyn Bone borehole at the final depth of 250m, the constant discharge of 12 m3/h at depth of 212m pump intake, with constant discharge of 24 hrs indicated that the static water level is 130m , and the maximum drawdown of this borehole is only 27.50m an average of 12m3/hr.
The recovery of this well is about 2 hours, however it recommended that this borehole can sustain big pump 20-25 HP with discharge of about 15 up to 25 m3/hr. the current pump is 15 HP with discharge of 12 m3/hr at depth of 212m.
